Our standard terms and conditions apply during this time. If lock down protocols are re-introduced by the government or local authority your course will continue live over Zoom.

The Mummas Village - Each geographical area is owned and operated by an independent teacher under an exclusive license granted by The Mummas Village. Each teacher has been fully trained, assessed and insured. They have been granted the right to use The Mummas Village class plans.

Course amendments – If we need to amend your class time or the venue at which your class is held your teacher will endeavour to provide you with a minimum of 7 days’ notice. Where the start time is altered by less than 30 minutes and/or the venue is located within a 1-mile radius of original planned venue, no refunds will be offered.

Refunds and Cancellations – Your teacher is under no obligation to refund your money in the event that you are unable to attend part of or the entire course after booking. The only exception to this in in the case of a baby being born preterm during an antenatal course, the balance of your missed term will be offered as a credit towards baby classes with the same teacher only.

If you are unsure, please contact your teacher. It is your responsibility to keep your teacher up to date with any conditions you may have and advise them of any new conditions or complications. If you are unwell or if you are unsure whether to attend a class or not you must inform your teacher BEFORE you come to class so that they can assess any risks to the other participants in class and advise if you should attend or not. Please note they may be teaching in the day prior to your class so if you are in any doubt about attending and have not had a response, please do not attend class.

It is vital that you inform your teacher of any medical conditions that you or your child has that might affect your time in class. All information is treated sensitively and in confidence.

In the case of allergies in Music & Mess you MUST inform your teacher of any allergies prior to starting the course. All attempts will be made to make mess appropriate for your baby, if your teacher is unable to accommodate your requirements for the term you will be informed and a refund will be issued. The Mummas Village and all Mummas Village teachers can not be held liable for any allergic reactions in class.

If you are unable to attend a session yourself for any reason and wish to offer the space to a friend,  this may be possible at your teachers discretion however, it MUST be approved by your teacher in advance, and will depend upon the class in question and age of the child you wish to offer your space to. Relevant paperwork must also be completed for anyone attending a class.

Siblings in class – Please note with the exception of twins and Tiddlers & Toddlers no siblings are allowed to attend baby classes. In the case of Tiddlers & Toddlers please inform your teacher when booking how many siblings are attending and what their ages are/ we will always endeavour to accommodate siblings in this class where we have the space and resources.

Food – With the exception of baby milk please do not bring food into the class environment. This can cause a choking risk whilst we are active in class, a reaction for other children with cross contamination and mess.

Cancelled Sessions – Please ensure your teacher is aware if your contact number changes after booking. They can only notify you in the event of a cancelled class if they have up-to-date contact information for you. Your teacher will endeavour to ensure your scheduled class always runs. However, from time to time unforeseen circumstances will prevent this. They will ALWAYS attempt to make contact with you if class is cancelled, either via phone, text, or email. Please ensure you always check your phone prior to leaving for class. If your teacher is running a class and you decide not to attend for any reason no refund will be given.

Exclusion of Liability - In the absence of any proven negligence, lack of due diligence or breach of duty by the teacher, The Mummas Village, its licensees/local teachers or employees, the participation of you, your family, your baby or your child or those in whose care you have placed your baby/child for the purpose of attending class, is done so entirely at your and their own risk.
