"After my eldest was born I knew I didn’t want to go back to the corporate world of training & Management within the beauty industry. Almost immediately I began searching for something that felt a better fit with my new family life.



I was lucky enough to attend baby classes taught by our very own Mummas Village Educator Steph (and now one of my business partners!). I had experienced first hand the huge difference that attending supportive, fun & empowering postnatal classes had made to my own journey as a mum in those early days, and loved the idea of providing that for other parents. The rest as they say, is history. I retrained as a postnatal educator and by the time my son reached 9 months old I had launched my new business teaching classes in Haslemere. 



Becoming a mum has undoubtedly been the single best thing I have ever experienced in my life bringing me so much joy, laughter, and friendship, but It has also been the single most challenging thing I have ever experienced. I have felt the highest highs, but also the lowest lows, and it has brought with it at times some personal struggles with my mental health and especially anxiety. 



Becoming a parent is utterly overwhelming at times and can be very lonely. Having a safe space to go to; a supportive listening ear that never judges; and feeling part of a community is so important and can transform your journey as a parent.



The Mummas Village really does offer that to all parents who come to our classes. I love being able to help parents create a network of support which helps them navigate the crazy world of parenthood. 



What I do is so much more than just a job, It is a genuine passion, and I feel so privileged to be a small part of the journey of so many parents and helping them to create wonderful memories of those early months and years together.
