"After the birth of my second child my return to the corporate world was uncomfortable and unsustainable to a happy family / work balance. In 2015 I retrained as an antenatal and postnatal educator and in 2019 trained in HypnoBirthing. I was shortlisted as "Best Antenatal Teacher" at the Mama Conference 2019.
I had two amazingly positive births with my children, my first was a beautiful calm water birth and my second was a trickier, drawn out back to back labour. Despite the more complicated nature of my second birth I found both experiences incredibly empowering and positive. I love giving birth! I find the whole process so fascinating and magical and I would have another 20 babies if I could, and if it was guaranteed they would sleep!
I am passionate about supporting parents as they prepare to welcome their baby into the world. I had negative experiences in my antenatal education and I never want any parent to feel like they have failed! You cannot fail at birth and parenthood, it is an ever evolving journey and so long as you are making informed choices in the best interests of your family you will smash it!
